Our work in the news.
Ending Hunger & Malnutrition
A major part of our work is ending hunger and malnutrition by redistributing excess food from homes, restaurants, businesses, canteens, and gatherings to people in need. Every year, India produces over 67 million tonnes of food waste, making wasted food an excellent, sustainable solution to the hunger crisis.
Eliminating Educational Inequity
Rural schools for the poor masses are often ignored in government policies and funding. We believe that by providing opportunities to live healthy, knowledgeable lives, we can help the poor lift themselves out of poverty. We work to provide these opportunities by holding open-air classes during school breaks, providing financial assistance to certain families to prevent child labor, and awarding scholarships to the most promising, dedicated students in need.
